The child is a resident of Kusmi village of Bemetara district. His kidney developed complications and since then the child has been on dialysis, said AIIMS doctors said.
Krishna’s parents’ father Dinesh Verma and mother Amrit Verma are daily wage laborers who work at construction sites now grappling with the emotional and financial burdens associated with their child’s health crisis.
“It’s been two years since my child has been in so much pain, we have put all our expenses and savings into his treatment but now we are lacking financial assistance. Moreover, we need a donor. The little one’s grandfather initially tried to be a donor, as his blood group did not match, said his parents.
The Verma family is asking for help to find a kidney donor for Krishna for which they are trying to reach out to the NGOs and other organisations.
